Marc Rutenberg Homes has been the trailblazer in building Zero-Energy, LEED certified homes.  Their next home – located in the prestigious Champion’s Club in Trinity, Florida –is slated for completion soon. “The Breakwater” is a Frank Lloyd Wright inspired prairie style creation that incorporates Goodwin’s River-Recovered® Heart Cypress on both the interior and exterior ceilings.  This attractive reclaimed wood has been stained darker than its natural color and is being installed using clean, straight lines. A distinguishing prairie style feature is the clean lines extending out into infinite space coupled with a low flat series of roofs.  Here are some photos of the home under construction:

In addition to its beauty, this Marc Rutenberg home boasts the best in energy efficiency and sustainable design features.

You may recall that Goodwin worked with Marc Rutenberg Homes a few years back on another Zero-Energy home.  This is just the beginning as the company is working on developing an entire village of these high-quality, energy-efficient homes.   It is always and honor and privilege to work with this incredible team of environmentally conscious professionals.

Stay tuned as we bring you more about this exciting project!
