From old-growth trees felled during storms to wood rescued from properties and backyards, Goodwin is breathing new life into beautiful wood that otherwise would either be destroyed or sold for pennies on the dollar to mills not practicing sustainable or lean manufacturing.

Grain: Clear grade
Knots: Very few, none over 1″
Color: A richer brown, more uniform than common species
Heart: 100% heart face
Hardness: 1130 Janka; comparable to Antique Heart Pine

Milling:

Width: 5/8″ x 5¼” & 7″
Length: 20″–8′ same average length as solid wood flooring
Kiln Dried: Yes to 6-8% moisture content. Test moisture content for jobsite region
Finishing: Our standard wood floor is unfinished. Pre-finishing with a micro bevel can be added. UV oil finish available Can be sanded same as our solid wood floors
