The building that is now home to the Matheson Museum’s Library and Archives was originally the Gainesville Gospel Tabernacle. It then became the Barrow Family Antique Store, and next the city’s Melting Pot Restaurant before it was most recently restored to be used by the Matheson Museum. As a part of its historic restoration, Goodwin milled an Old Florida heart pine floor.
